My project for this week is to get updated photos up of all the rooms and the front and back of the house.... Fingers crossed I can actually do it.

A couple random DIY.....

1. The kids 3-in-1 soap dispenser..... It never fails, I buy a 3-in-1 soap for my 2 kids, and it's gone in a week.... where did it all go? How did 2 kids use a whole bottle of soap in a week!!!!

Well I solved my problem... I had a big pump bottle of Dove shampoo that was pretty much empty. I cleaned it out really well and emptied 2 3-in-1 large soap containers into it. Then of course I decorated it :) 

(**Side note, let the Sharpie dry, then brush Mod Podge onto it to keep the Sharpie on the bottle, otherwise it will wash off.)

Now the kids know that one pump is plenty and it lasts weeks!

2. We have a top loader and were able to position the detergent so that it pours right into the soap dispenser  Here's the problem, it dripped all over the top of the washer when the lid was closed...gross! So I used a kids Suave 3-in-1 bottle to make a little cup that caught the annoying drips. I just cut the bottle in half, and made a hole for the spout. 

3. My parents kept the dresser they bought for my nursery 30 years ago. I needed a bigger dresser for Izzie, so I went to their garage and picked it up.They were just going to give it away :O   So I brought it home, sanded it down, and painted it to match her room.
